The Problem

YMCA – Everyone knows The Y for their state of the art gyms, pools, and fitness classes, but not everyone is familiar with The Y’s robust selection of Summertime Day Camps. The Y was looking to drive additional camp registration for their upcoming summer sessions to ensure their programs were fully booked.

The Solution

TOPS worked with The Y to create a digital strategy to target parents of elementary school aged children in the Lexington area. We put together a strategy to utilize paid search and behavioral targeting to direct our messaging at individuals actively searching for summer camps and children’s day camps in the Lexington area. TOPS also used targeted display ads in coordination with placing geofences around the neighborhoods nearby each Y location to direct their messaging at those families who would be in the market for children’s day camps.

The Results

During 2021 with gyms reopening, the YMCA has seen a 35% increase in Summer Camp Registration and a boost in new membership over LY.
